I am kind, mature, fun, and motivated. I respect myself and others and encourage people to be the best type of person they can be. I don't smoke, use drugs or engage in sexual activities.
Childcare experiences
I have been babysitting, tutoring and looking after children since the age of 12. I looked after a 4 year old 5 days a week from 8 am to 6 pm (aprx) during the summer. I have babysat for many families consistently. As well, I volunteered at a community center looking after kids while the parents socialized. Duties included preparing meals, walking to and from school, putting to bed, organizing day trips, taking care of pets, housework, watering plants/ cutting the grass, etc.

How I spend my leisure time
I enjoy being outdoors and in nature, while at the same time, I do enjoy a quiet day in reading a book or going out with friends and family. I love to travel and experience different cultures and ways of life.
Lived away from home
I've spent months at a time away from my family in neighbouring provinces but I have never been overseas. I'm very independent and can adjust to a situation well.
Duties not willing to do
Heavy housework.
I'm a vegetarian so I don't eat meat but I don't mind preparing some simple meals made with meat.

Why I want to be an Au Pair
I love being around children and acting as a mature, responsible figure, bringing fun and joy into their lives. It'd be awesome to create a bond with the family I'm staying with and feel accepted. I want to experience other countries and get a sense of their culture and way of life.
