Description of character

I'm someone who is kind, straight forward and quiet in character, but energetic in my activities and I'm always available. I've a good sense of humour ! But I know when to remain very serious and I'm anxious to give others the best help.

I don't like when people bicker because I think and am convinced that there is always a solution or a compromise to be found ! I don't like seeing sad people and I want to share with them my own joy and enthusiasm to engender a better mood.

Childcare experiences

I've been working with children and teenagers for many years. About my last "missions", I've living in London for 10 months (with a 10 yrs old boy), in Italy (6 yrs old boy) and in Greece (7 yrs old children = Twin) for a year.

Few months ago I was in Asia to take care of a disable child, 4 years old. Until today, I've working with great families as an Aupair, tutor or sometimes as a social worker (I have several diplomas for childcare or as social worker).

During my free time, I give French lessons to some children or teenagers. My native language is French.

I believe I'm a good cook - I know a lot of recipes ! French, Greek, Italian...(sweet or savoury). My dad passed onto me his passion for the culinary arts. As a young man, he was a chef !

How I spend my leisure time

I regard myself as a keen sportsman and I do a lot of sports : bicycle, running, swimming, hiking. I like camping and nature.
I like to go to cinema as well.

Lived away from home

I traveled and I know a lot of beautiful countries throughout Europe and the world ! I've travelled a lot, in Thaïland, Laos, UK, Portugal, Spain, Austria, Germany, Croatia, Italy and specially Greece and its Islands... Today I am in Australia.

Why I want to be an Au Pair

I do this job for more than 15 years now. My relationships with children and people have always been excellent. A lot of trust, communication and a mutual respect ! I like to have new experiences and I don't want to stop discovering new things, situations and people throughout the world ! It's my passion.
