I am a trustworthy, reliable person with a love for languages and travel. I am very adventurous and live for each day. I enjoy meeting new people and I consider myself to be very sociable. I would say I am very open minded and I am open to learning about new cultures. I have a good sense of humour and generally I like to have a good time.
Childcare experiences
Last year I worked as an English language assistant in a primary school in Nimes. I learned alot from this experience and gained valuable experience working with children. I taught seven classes with children aged 3-11 and used a combination of songs, quizzes and games in order to create a fun learning experience for the children.
I have also spent two summers working with children with disabilites, working with children aged 5-12. Each day I would be responsible for looking after a child on a one to one basis, giving them the confidence to try various different activities and encouraging them to interact with other children.

Why I want to be an Au Pair
I would like to become an au pair in order to improve my French language skills and also to gain further life experience. After completing my university degree I am keen to pursue a career in teaching English as a foreign language and I think working as an au pair will be an experience which will help further this ambition.
