Details of the au pair's room

The Au Pair room is situated on the first floor of the house. Also on this floor is our daughter Alice's room, guest room and bathroom which the au pair will share with Alice. The room comprises a single bed, bedside cabinet, wardrobe, chest of drawers and desk. There is a TV with sattelite connection and a CD player. The house has wi-fi access which the au pair can use unlimited. The au pair will also have sole use of a car.

The au pair's typical daily schedule

Monday to Friday the au pair will be required to wake up Alice, make her breakfast and packed lunch and drive her to school. At lunch time walk the dog and then collect Alice from school at 4pm. The au pair will then prepare a meal for herself and daughter and supervise any homework. Somethimes Alice has after school activities such as piano which the au pair will need to drive her to or play dates with friends. The au pair will have evenings and weekends free.

Extras offered to au pair

We will pay for the au pair to attend a language course and she will have sole use of a car.

Personal note to au pair

We are a very easy going English family with a great sense of humour. We have had two previous nannies f- both German - Jenny was with us for nine months and Katja for eighteen months. As Alice is now 11 and attends school the whole day we feel that she no longer needs a nanny and would benefit more from an au pair who we hope will be like a big sister to her. She is very independent and can do most things for herself - she loves horses, music and reading. She is fluent in German and French.

Comments

We are looking for a German speaking au pair who would like to improve their French and English. Although Alice can speak french and German we only speak English. During the school holidays we would like the au pair to look after Alice - this will be paid in addition.
