Own bedroom with a lockable door, use of a laptop, but can only connect downstairs.

We would share the bathroom, TV, etc.

The au pair's typical daily schedule

Expectations, get the children up and ready for school. Walk them to school for 8.45 and 9am. When the children are at school, you have time to do as you wish, if you could spare 30 minutes of that time to walk the dog around the field, would be appreciated. and of course you will collect the children at the correct times. General tidying up and light housework. There will be occassional babysitting required.

Extras offered to au pair

We would pay you 'pocket money' when you stay with us. There are language courses in the neighboring town, we would be willing to pay half of the costs. Also, we would supply you with a mobile phone and we would put credit on it, to be used in emergencies only. Also we would pay for toiletries.

Personal note to au pair

We are looking for an au pair to be part of our family and be a friend to our son Mark and daughter Sarah. You should be a kind, friendly, responsible and trustworthy person. You should love spending time with small children and be ready to have fun with them. You should have experience of looking after young children - either through previous work experience or through your own family. You should be prepared to help out at home with general tidying, laundry and light housework.

Comments

We have had an au pair before and lacked in english. We found it extremely difficult to understand one another. So we ask that your english is fairly good.

And last of all, we expect you to have fun and be happy!
