What an Au Pair will expect

• full board and their own private room, with facilities to study.
• to receive their pocket money weekly.
• two full days off per week.
• to be treated as one of the family.
• to take their meals with the family.
• help in finding a good language school.
• time off to attend language classes.
• to telephone their family of their safe arrival at the host family's home.
• one weeks holday pay after six months, and two weeks after a year.
• to receive at least two week's notice should the placement not work out unless there are certain mitigating circumstances

What an Au Pair will NOT expect

• to be treated like a domestic servant.
• to be given sole charge of babies or very young children.
• to work more than their maximum allowable hours.
• An au pair will NOT expect to be asked to be an escort for a single man, husband or boyfriend.
• An au pair will NOT expect to be asked for photos of a personal, sexual or provocative nature and are advised by us to inform us immediately of any such request.
• An au pair will NOT expect to be asked to dress in a provocative or sexy manner, OR be asked sexy or provocative questions during the interviewing stages of any placement.
• ANY MEMBER REPORTED AS BEHAVING IN THE ABOVE MANNER WILL HAVE THEIR ACCOUNT SUSPENDED IMMEDIATELY.
